Hours and Location

The library is located at 8 Wentworth Street in the heart of the Kittery Foreside, across the street from Gate 1 of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.  

Parking is available in the following designated areas:

• Two public parking lots at the Rice Public Library (2-hr parking/Mon-Fri, 6 AM – 3 PM)
  • One entrance on Wentworth Street.
  • One entrance on Traip Avenue
• Public parking (2-hr) in the Kittery Art Association (the old Taylor building) parking lot, when the KAA is closed.
  • Entrance is located on the corner of Walker & Wentworth Streets.
• Public parking (2-hr) at the corner lot between Walker & Government Streets.
• Public street parking (2-hr) along Wentworth, Walker & Government Streets, in designated areas.
• There is no public parking along Traip Avenue, behind the Rice Public Library.
