Kittery Advocates For All (KAFA) hosts a community conversation around Episode 8 of the NPR podcast, "Black and Blue". Get perspective from  African-American law enforcement officials who find themselves in the middle of heated conversations about race and policing, and on how they are processing recent events that have sparked national conversations.

We will listen to the 30-minute podcast and follow with a group discussion. All are welcome.

Come join us for our annual Holly Jolly Trolley event!  This is a *one-night* event.  The trolley runs every 15 minutes, please call or e-mail to register for a scheduled spot for your family.  Families can carol with our conductor aboard the trolley--it is a short, but very sweet ride around our neighborhood in Kittery.  

Everyone is welcome to delicious hot cocoa and Christmas goodies before and after the trolley rides--we will also have a fun craft for all.  We make the Rice Building dazzle for this wonderful holiday season.  Come join us!

Artisits worldwide respond to the climate crisis.  This slideshow immerses the audience in a guided multimedia tour of global artistic responses to the climate crisis.  It includes everything from elegiac classical music to jarring yet beautiful avant-garde film.  The presentation includes a section on his own climate-conscious artwork that incorporates a reading from a hand-bound booklet (available for sale), titled "Meditations in the Dark".

For over 30 years, the Friends of the Rice Public Library have been advocating for and supporting our town library. Friends also raise funds to supplement the library budget.
